Weekend in Yosemite - Sept 16, 2004

A couple of friends and I went for a long weekend to Yosemite. They did some hiking while I spent my time taking a few snapshots. It wasn't the best time of the year to go for photography, but I did get a few nice pictures.

San Jose Grand Prix, July 29, 2006

My friend Harold and I went to check out the Second Annual San Jose Grand Prix down in San Jose, CA. This year's event was disappointing--it totally was not worth the price of admission...but I did get a chance to test out the speed of my Canon 1D Mark II, and I did manage to get some nice photos of the race cars as they whizzed by us. cars.

Janet and I both had to itch to go back to Monterey and Big Sur again before the seasonal kelp would take over and the crystal blue sea fades to a slimy gray green. This time we brought along her husband John. Perfect weather for some sightseeing and a picnic on the beach!

Some friends of mine and I went on a weekend hiking and siteseeing (and photography) in Yosemite National Park. Here are the people pictures I took; you'll find my landscape photographs in the Yosemite photo gallery.

Janet and I were both itching to get out of town so when I called her up and asked if she wanted to go for a drive out to Monterey, she didn't hesistate for a moment. Here here are some of the pictures we took out there. I never tire of this place.
